TREATMENT Feature
Sodium Nitrate Iron and Steel corrosion inhibitor. 800-2500 ppm recommended.
Molybdate Slows the growth of bacteria.
Tolyltriazole Copper corrosion Inhibitor.
Synthetic polymer Prevents hard scale built up.
Borax buffer Corrects the water pH (Maintain pH level between 8.5 to 9.2).
Silicates A common corrosion inhibitor used by automotive antifreeze suppliers is silicates. Silicates have the disadvantage of building up an insulating layer on components and are not recommended for industrial engines. Concentration should not exceed 25 ppm.
