At 25°–30°C, the amount of moisture left in gases dried using DryMax Desiccant Non Indicating is 0.005 mg/liter (National Bureau of Standards data validated). To a dew point of -100°F, the air is dried. Drying is done to very low parts per million. Efficiency barely changes at temperatures as high as 100°C.</p>

DryMax Desiccant Non Indicating quickly and chemically absorbs 6.6 weight percent water to produce the calcium sulfate hemihydrate needed for drying liquids. DryMax Desiccant Non Indicating has a water capacity of 10 to 14 weight percent for drying gasses. Chemical and capillary action working together has resulted in this improved capacity. The extra capacity is explained by the 38 percent pore space volume found in drierite granules. The capacity changes directly with pressure and the partial pressure of water vapor, and inversely with temperature above 6.6%.</p>
