<strong><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Potassium Acetate Solution has a buffering range from pH 3.8 - 5.8. It is used in the purification and precipitation of nucleic acids. The Buffer is also used to precipitate dodecyl sulfate (DS) and DS-bound proteins allowing the removal of proteins from DNA.</span></span></em></strong></p>
